DC Funk & Harmony was founded originally for pre Go-Go bands, vocal groups and
singers from the Washington DC Metro area aka The DMV and influential groups from Richmond and Baltimore.
History, Documentation and Archiving the Culture of DC music is our primary mission.
The musicians, the vocal groups, the DJ’s, show promoters, the venues, record label promoters and the tech crews all need to be honored.
We are in a state of continuous growth and development and we hope you will find the joy and the love here from all the current members.
We hope to do some big things here and for the DMV as we pay honor to those musicians who have carved out a niche in the DMV both living and those who have gone home.
